Kristin Scheithauer holds a BA in English from UC Irvine and a MA in broadcast journalism from USC. She has worked
as a reporter and editor at a FOX television affiliate in California. Kristin further developed her editing skills
through employment with international public relations firm Hill & Knowlton, where she oversaw development of
written materials for Fortune 500 companies. Kristin’s communications and editing experience dates back to her
undergraduate years, when her work was first published by the Anaheim Angels of Los Angeles (formerly the California
Angels) publications department. She currently manages her own business as a public relations and communications
consultant, specializing in media relations, corporate writing, and editing. Voluntarism is a top pursuit, and
Kristin has chaired various committees for the American Cancer Society and the Junior League of Orange County, CA
for several years. During rare moments of spare time, she enjoys reading fiction based on the American West. She
is married with two daughters and a Beagle named Scout.
