Laura was born and raised in Northern California. She has lived in Los Angeles, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Texas for the past ten years; recently, she returned to her hometown of Cottonwood, CA. She has worked as a Spanish teacher, a softball instructor, a behavior specialist for autistic children, a private tutor, and a freelance editor, but her very favorite job is being mom to her two young children. Her graduate studies focused on teaching English as a Second Language and she has co-written curriculum for cross-cultural and worldview training programs distributed throughout China. In addition to working as an editor, Laura owns and operates a manufacturing business. She loves to cook and will take any chance she gets to play board games with her family. She enjoys reading historical fiction, biographies, and theological works. Her areas of special interest include foreign language and cultural studies, health sciences, theology, history, and literature.
