Removing Editor Comments — OpenOffice 3.2

Step 1:
Once you have accepted or rejected the proposed changes in the document, locate the editor's comments in the right-hand margin. You can find more information on removing recorded changes at: remove recorded changes from OpenOffice documents.

In the example below, the editor comment has been highlighted on the right-hand margin, which gives three options.

Step 2:
You must manually revise in accordance with editor comments. OpenOffice does not automatically make the change suggested in a comment. Comments are meant to correct recurring problems or communicate directly with the author.

To delete a comment, move your mouse to the right-hand side. Right-click on the comment and select Delete Comment from the dropdown menu. This will remove the comment. Be sure to address the note prior to deleting it.
